Criminal Defense Attorney Cody Berringer dealt with the most sinister criminal clients on a daily basis. The cases had always given him the most horrible recurring nightmares - or so he thought - until the man that haunted him in his dreams walked through the doors of Berringer & Associates.
It wasn't only the man's appearance that had Cody frozen at his desk long after he had left; it was also the words that were stamped in crimson atop the file - "TOP SECRET". No matter how many times he read it, he shook his head in disbelief. Why Cody? What clandestine information did it hold? What would it mean? Somehow he knew all his questions would be answered. He just had no idea that the answers would change his life forever.
Phone calls from the FBI, ritual killings of those named within the Top Secret file, supernatural visits in the black of night, and repeated attempts on Cody's life force him to run.
Hunted by those that oppose humanity's existence, and guided by beings that desire our success, Cody races against time to uncover the mysteries surrounding the file. If he can stay alive long enough, he will resurrect an ancient past that will save the present, and rewrite the future of man's existence.
